Jason is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He earned a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1999 from Northwestern University. He began his career with a strong interest in couple and marital therapy, applying several popular approaches to help couples improve communication and deepen relational intimacy. He has since broadened his therapeutic interests by working with families with young children and with troubled teenagers, as well as providing Intensive In-Home Therapy. Jason has taught courses on Child and Family Development and Interpersonal Relationships and has provided guest lectures on a wide variety of topics related to relationship health and intimacy. He has supervised and trained college students and has devoted extensive time to research and writing in his field. Jason has been married for almost 10 years and recently his wife gave birth to their first child. He enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with his family.
